So like I don't rightly know if this is the right place to put this but I figured I share a piece of my hobby for your viewing pleasure. Like it? Hate it? I'd apprieciate your honest feedback on this. Who knows, if this is well liked I'll add more.

Vanquish
Alone, she is scared.
Concealed in a veil of darkness,
Her heart lost to the void.
Emotions are extinguished,
Sanity is but a memory.
Anger and agony
Along with her msery
Make her untouchable,
Almost like a ghost.

She walks the blackened world aimlessly
Making everything dark like her soul
She once held life,
But lost it ages ago.
A pointless existence
A meaningless existence.
She's but a cold shell of what she was,
Happy and energetic
That's all faded now.

Memories of the past fill her mind
Slowling breaking the thick dark barrier.
Memories of family,
Friends and loved ones,
Secret clubs and childhood pranks
Favorite foods or a special someone.
Each memory more powerful than the last.

Suddenly it breaks, the shell is no more.
The darkness wanes. She begins to smile.
Her soul leaves the dark
It soars towards her body.
Filled with life, filled with energy.
It reunites with the mind, wakes her from the dream.
The smile still remains on her face.
A friends asks why she smiles.
She simply replies;
"I found my way back to memory lane."

This is a Snooet I had to do for my Creative Writing class last year. I stumbled upon my old binder and felt I should share this odd funny poem.

Sonnet X
Does peace of mind avoid that Triangle?

Can he not see that we can never be?

I tried convincing him he's not right for me

My rounded figure, his pointed angles

I'd be cut in two by you Triangle

I'd be no good as an oval you see?

We'd break the laws of nature, you and me

Sorry we cannot be, Sir Triangle.

I am a figure of honor and pride

Now see here that not now nor not ever

Will I ever leave my darling husband.

Nothing could cnvince me to lie

Me? Cheat on my spouse? Oh I say never

Sorry Triangle, I simply cannot bend.

Fine, fine, I think I'll mix something on the spot...

The story of a succubus is one among a crowd,
Even when witch hunts abound she'd spread her wings out proud.
Even to be accused clearly and loud,
Her gaze could wrap you wreathe you, swath your nerves in cloud

Charming, mysterious, irresistible fascination,
She'll pull you in; draw you; cause agitation,
Lead you in dance to the strongest anticipation--

Suddenly, your soul is stole, a binding deprivation.

Her twirling tail betrays her thoughts; her lustful grin, intent,
Even if you look away, your senses' warnings won't relent.
To search for protection, some salvation, a chance to repent,
But when breathing, seeing, touching, tracing blend and blur,
...what meaning is consent?
